One of the hardest things to write is things about yourself. Especially in the third person, describing who you are and what you do to a complete stranger.
Gosh, I know why you should book your massage with me.
My regular clients I have been working with for years know why you should book your massage with me.
but...
How do I "market my brand/massage style" and why I do what I do, to someone that has yet to meet me?
What makes me unique among massage therapists?
What are my client expectations and what should they expect from me as their LMT?
Who is my "ideal massage client"? Am I your "ideal massage therapist"?
Who am I, really? Why are we here?
What is the meaning of life? and Is the answer really "42"? https://www.csmonitor.com/Technology/2013/0311/42-facts-about-Douglas-Adams
Humor and existential uncertainty aside, when you are struggling with something, sometimes all you need is a little help in the beginning to get things going. In my specific case, I had someone else write out my bio to start. That allowed me to skip the creation phase that I was struggling with and get to the editing portion. Here's the finished result.

For me massage is not a "job", it is instead a career and a calling. I love what I do, and it shows with what I bring to the massage table. That's what I want new clients to know.
